Introduction to flying an airliner
Description
Flight voucher valid for an immersive A320-style flight simulator with family or friends
Are you ready for an unforgettable outing in a place that’s unique in the world?
Flylounge has converted a real Airbus fuselage into an events venue and installed an immersive flight simulator in the cockpit of this incredible structure.
The standard package is for 3 participants for 1 hour of flying. A ‘birthday cake’ + juice option can be added, which includes an extra hour (minimum 5 people). In this case, participants sit in the passenger cabin. This is not a private hire, but you reserve one of the tables for 6 (or more if there are more than 6 of you).
Use the options above to put together the programme that best suits your needs (duration / simulation / number of people). If you’d like a bit more time for a cake or for the driving session, perhaps you could choose a total duration of 2 hours 30 minutes or 3 hours? Or longer, on request.
The flight simulator with its visual display is incredibly realistic. With the help of an instructor, it can be used to let one or more people fly (allow 20 minutes per person, taking turns), or even all participants if you wish (ideally, allow 15 minutes per person) .
And for those who aren’t flying, there’s the chance to take part in role-play games in the passenger cabin – including dressing up the lucky guest as a flight attendant, a pilot or even an astronaut!
Bookings must be made in advance via this page, and appointments can be arranged by emailing contact(at)flylounge-com. You can also ring us on 02 3I8 OO 47 to check availability..
This group experience is also available as a gift voucher. Given the uniqueness and quality of the venue, we’d highly recommend it!
If your request goes beyond the scope of this package, please do not hesitate to ask us for a bespoke quote. There are plenty of options available, including exclusive packages, evening events with catering and even dance parties at the foot of the aircraft for those who want to end the evening on a high note (please contact us).
Useful information
How do I use this page? Simply select the total duration you’d like for your event, the driving time and the number of slices of cake (if you’re interested in this option – i.e. if you’d like to have a bite to eat) from the selection boxes above, and the price will be displayed automatically.
This offer means that there may be other customers in the passenger cabin during your experience (but you will be on your own in the cockpit whilst flying).
Any fancy dress costumes must be arranged on the day. Allow €10 for a cap or flat-topped hat, which the person can keep, and €60 for a fighter pilot’s jumpsuit. An airline pilot’s jacket can be hired for €30.
See you soon on our routes!
