Model Dakota DC-3
The DC3 earned the epithet "Workhorse of the Skies". Thousands were produced from the end of the Second World War to the 1950s by the Douglas Aircraft factories, in military, civil, government and private versions. Even now, they can be found flying from remote airports, landing on the narrowest of runways. Legendary and nostalgic. Aluminium propellers, riveted, noisy, but also safe and familiar.
